A Lawyer's Prayer

Dear Lord, as I walk this day in the paths of my profession, let me be

Kind to those who lean on me,

Loyal to those who confide in me,

True to those who trust me,

Fair to those who oppose me, and

Honest in every way, to everyone, about everything.

Most of all, Lord, help me to seek justice,
no matter where it may lie
or where that quest may lead me.
